Home Spa Tips
Tips and Recipes to Create Your Own Home Spa Experience!
Preparing your own home spa treatments is rewarding, easy, helps to reduce stress, and fosters empowerment. You can practice simple daily or weekly pampering and rejuvenating habits that help "you" to regain control over your looks and your overall wellness.
While there is no substitute for being pampered by someone else's hands, you need not spend a small fortune to experience the benefits of spa treatments you can do at home. The easy recipes here will help you save money, encourage empowering self-help habits that will allow you to take care of yourself at home and on occasion have extra money to treat yourself to a massage or a day at the spa - who said we have to make big sacrifices when finances are tight!?
First, I need to tell you that the essential oils in these recipes can also be used in dozens of other ways - so don't limit yourself by thinking the mentioned essential oils can only be used in these recipes.
Also, the Young Living essential oils are the best quality essential oils I have found. You need to know this because if you try to use cheaper essential oils from department stores and even health food stores you will be making huge compromises that can range from the results you obtain to actually causing harm. So, do NOT substitute another brand and know that when I speak of essential oils I'm only referring to Young Living Essential Oils.
These recipes also make excellent gifts – simply follow the recipes and put the mixtures in a glass jar, decorate with pretty label and ribbon and you're ready to go. Remember to include the name of the recipe and how it is used.
With that said... browse the following recipes and see which ones resonate with you and your needs. ~ Enjoy!

Green Grapes and Boswellia Wrinkle Cream
Green Thompson seedless grapes has one of the ingredients found in those big time expensive wrinkle creams.

For Your Face: Easy Facial Masks
About the Papaya and Frankincense Facial Mask
Papaya facial masks are very popular at spas and resorts. Papayas contain Vitamin C and Vitamin E, plus an enzyme that helps exfoliate and smooth the complexion.
Fresh papayas are available at most grocery stores during the warm months. During out of season, let your Papaya ripen a few days on the kitchen counter before using in a facial mixture.
Papaya is used as an ingredient in many skin care products today and provides a “natural” face lift and rejuvenation brings a wonderful and natural glow to the skin. It is commonly seen in soaps, lotions, toners, moisturizers, facial peels, and many other personal care products. However, using a fresh Papaya is going to produce a much higher quality home made product and you'll no doubt see some very nice results.
Rubbing the white pulp of raw papaya on the face can effectively dry up pimples.
Frankincense has been well known for centuries for its healing powers. During ancient times frankincense was only possessed by those of great wealth, and even today pound for pound frankincense is still more valuable than gold.
